A: Any aftermarket vehicle receiver or controller bearing the SiriusXM-Ready logo means it can connect to and control a SiriusXM-Connect Satellite Radio tuner such as the SXV100, SXV200 or SXV300

Q: How is SiriusXM-Ready different than SAT Radio-Ready, Sirius-Ready or XM-Ready?
A: It's a similar concept but with SiriusXM-Ready no additional cables, adapters or translators are needed to connect the Satellite Radio Tuner (SXV100/SXV200/SXV300). More features such as Replay™, Artist/Song and Game Alerts and more can also be accessed depending on the particular model of car stereo receiver.

Q: What is the difference between the SXV200 and the SXV300?
A: The SXV300 includes the capability for more advance features such as TuneMix™, SportsFlash™ and Traffic & Weather Now. Note that these features are capabilities of the SXV300 tuner for SiriusXM-Ready car stereo units that have implemented the features. Please consult your car stereo manufacture for specific capabilities of your SiriusXM-Ready radio.

A: No. The SXV300 is only compatible with car stereo receivers bearing the SiriusXM-Ready logo.

A: No. All SiriusXM-Ready car stereo receivers allow the SXV300 to directly plug into it with one, integrated cable.

Q: Where does the antenna need to be mounted?
A: The best possible signal is from having the magnetic mount antenna outside and on top of the vehicle. Visit the installation support section for more tips on the best antenna placement.

Q: Can I use a Sirius vehicle antenna with the SXV300?
A: Though a Sirius antenna will attach to the SXV300, the best performance will be from the included SXV300V1 antenna or any other XM approved antenna.

A: All SiriusXM-Ready car stereos can connect and control the SXV300 Satellite Radio tuner for basic features such as channel tuning and displaying the artist and song title on the car stereo display. Some car stereos have more advanced features such as Replay, Artist/Song and Game Alerts, TuneStart™, TuneMix™, Album art images and more. Please consult the particular car stereo receiver manufacture for a list of supported features.

Q: How do I resend the activation signal to the SXV300?
A: With the 8-Character Radio I.D. visit the Refresh Site online to have the signal resent.

Q: How do I retrieve the Radio I.D. of the SXV300?
A: With the car stereo on the SiriusXM source, tune to channel 0 and the 8-character Radio I.D. will be displayed. Note that the Radio ID does not use the letters I,O, S or F.

A: The SXV300 receives the XM Satellite Radio broadcast and requires a SiriusXM Subscription plan.
